A/N: This was my winning entry for round 2.11 of writerinadrawer. I'm a little underwhelmed by it, but then, three out of the five pieces were light-ish in tone, and I'm in a bit of a dark-fic mode right now. My favourite thing about it is Jack's discussion of what it is to be female, and the fact that the starting line - "one more" - parallels the idea of "one more year", which I didn't realize until afterwards.
