While I was flipping through my A Matter of Time folder, I came across some notes I'd made on how I saw the three different Jacks, and Ianto, for character work. It was interesting to reread, especially since I last modified it in April.

On another note, madeira has kindly granted me some space at her domain, so once we have coffee and she teaches me how to use it, I'll post all of AMoT in one html document, so anyone who wants to download it to read it offline can do so. A/N: This fic would not be half what it is without the tireless, speedy beta-work of thaddeusfavour who not only fixed my spelling and grammar and awkward phrasings, but nurtured the plot and character development, urged me on when I was stuck, and put up with my long, ranting emails about what wasn't working only to write back with exactly what I needed to hear. If only every writer could have a beta as skilled and dedicated!

The cover art is by madeira (and you should really check out her other stuff, at polaroidburn) who indulged my inner ego by creating such a gorgeous piece of art just for me. (And yes, that is the Serenity on the cover.)

And the biggest thanks of all goes to everyone who's read from page one, especially to those who've dropped me a line to encourage me onward. I have never, ever in my life accomplished anything like this, and for a long time didn't consider myself capable of finishing something so big, what with my god-awful attention span. I would never have had the drive to complete it if it weren't for everyone who said they liked it, even once. This story is, at heart, a piece of entertainment, a yarn told for others to enjoy, and having even one person tell me they were entertained made it all worth it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So, I'm going camping this weekend with the boyfriend, for the two-year anniversary we both forgot. (And for fun.) Which means NO INTERNET. It's a sign of how glued I am to my computer that I think I'm going to experience withdrawal symptoms.
